FESTIVALS

We enter four dance festivals a year and those pupils who qualify can compete in the All England Dance Regional Finals and the London Finals. We also enter dancers into the the bi-annual Grandison Clark Awards.

Dancers enter tap, character, ballet and national categories as solo performers, duets and groups.

Festival entry gives pupils the opportunity to perform in a competitive yet supportive environment, strengthening their determination and confidence. The enjoyment and excitement outweighs the hard work!

Please encourage your dancer to keep their festival performance commitment unless illness or injury prevent attendance. There is a waiting list of schools that would like to enter dancers and so it is important to maintain attendance as well as the high standard of professional behaviour and performance that MHSD is known for.
