Marguarita Hoare School of Dancing
Est. 1939
MHSD is a family run school providing dance tuition in St Albans. We provide children with high-quality training in a variety of dance styles that develop health, strength and confidence, together with a love of dance and music that will stay with them forever.
We teach classes in Ballet (RAD & ISTD), Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap and National, covering examinations from Primary to final Advanced 2 levels as well as Body Conditioning, Classical Greek Dance and adult Tap.
ABOUT MHSD
At MHSD we aim to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which the student can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer. Our highly trained and certified instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines.
Many of our pupils have gone on to careers in the West End, TV and professional ballet companies, such as The Royal Ballet.
Pupils may also take part in The All England Regional and National Dance Festivals and the ISTD Grandison Clark Awards.
